Oreo Cereal Recipe

A great morning for a great breakfast treat? How about a childhood breakfast treat? That sounds nostalgic. These treats are definitely going to bring you back to your childhood days and will absolutely indulge your day. With their small-sized features, you will sure to have a food addiction with these treats. I remember back when I was still a kid, I always wanted to buy each brand of breakfast cereal at the grocery store especially if there is a free toy! I am glad to share with you that I made my own cereal too.  It’s been a while since I made these sweet treats. I am so happy that they turned out good as I make them. So I am going share with my recipe for making these sweet treats.

Oreo Cereals

Recipe: (Makes 2 cups of mini-sized cereal cookie)

6 Oreo cookies, separated and crushed (only the cookies will be used in this recipe)
1/4 cup granulated sugar
3 1/2 tablespoons powdered sugar, separated
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
4 tablespoon flour
1/8 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1  tablespoon butter, melted
3 1/2 tablespoon milk

Preheat the oven to 350ºF. Line 2 parchment paper onto a baking tray
In a large bowl, Add in the crush oreo cookies, cornstarch, granulated sugar, cocoa powder, flour, baking soda and baking powder. Whisk them until well-combined
Add in the melted butter then using a spoon or spatula, mix the mixture until it is combined.
Add in the milk to thin the mixture up, mix until incorporated
Place the mixture in the fridge for 10 minutes until it sets.
When it sets, roll the ball into a quarter of an inch (they will spread out). It can make 70~120 balls depending on the size of a tray. Bake them for 6 minutes until it hardened but soft when touching (they will harden as you take them out from the oven)
Serve them in a bowl together with a milk. Enjoy!
